"The CURE for the Common Workplace"

Guiding you to maximized human productivity

An important part of the "CURE" is your wellness and fitness. Generation Y has it right! We don't have a work life and a personal life-we have ONE LIFE! Let's take care of the ONE we have.....Well past 40

John feels strongly that no discussion of maximizing human productivity can occur without consideration being given to one's wellness. Your health and the health of your personnel is a critical factor not often discussed or even considered by most companies specializing in human productivity. Remember prevention is much better than correction! Your body, mind and spirit are your tools. If they are not functioning properly you have little chance of sustainable success.

BENEFIT TO YOU: Healthier people are simply more productive, engaged and more dependable. Fewer sick days, fewer health "issues" absolute higher productivity and higher quality of life.

John is just about 50 now and has come to realize that if his health is not good he cannot be at his best!  We've grown tired of the endless stream of "diets" and magazines featuring men and women that have bodies that look more like something out of a genetic engineering lab than anything in the real world. What about the 99% of us that actually have a life outside of the lab?

John works 80-90 hours a week.  He doesn't have time to seek out organic tofu or hand fed Indiana beef.  He cannot spend 3 hours a day training or working out, HE HAS A JOB. He shops in the local supermarket and has, AT MOST 60 minutes to work on fitness on the days he does exercise. Oh by the way HE HATES TO EXERCISE but loves the results and the all day feeling that it generates.

You can be in really good shape eating real food and doing reasonable exercise, no kidding. You will have more energy, you will sleep better, every aspect of your life including your performance at work and well let's say at home will improve with a reasonable wellness routine.  Do not think John has been some kind of gym rat his entire life. In the Navy they had a reasonable fitness routine but nothing crazy. When he retired hr joined corporate America.  He also retired his fitness and wellness.  John went from 172 pounds the day he retired to 207 pounds. It was a slow climb over the course of 6 years. He went 3 YEARS without EVER exercising.  His diet complimented his exercise program nicely (yup it was horrible)! He since has regained his form, so to speak. As his wellness improved so did his productivity, they are directly related.

Remember the "CURE" is all about maximizing human productivity. HUMAN being a key word in that sentence. Wellness is a critical component of high productivity.
